We offer a variety of programs and tools to help our young artists thrive
and to bring art to the general public.
One of the most essential segments of our programing, is private one on one lessons. These focused classes allow our young artists the attention they need to hone their skills. This is a game changer for many of these kids who may otherwise not have access to these costly lessons. Above is our very talented actor Ryan working with Tracy Gold at Vibe Performing Arts Center.
We love taking our artists out and showing them all the great museums and galleries here in the LA area. One of our favorite stops is the Mr. Brainwash Museum in Beverly Hills, shown above with our amazing visual artist Khriz Angel. As with all our programs, these visits are completely FREE to our young artists.
Several of our young artists are studying acting, music, and dance, and so they need high quality photographs and video to submit themselves for jobs. We provide professional quality head shots, video reels, and any other promotional assistance they need to get in front of casting directors and employers. Shown above is one of the professional head shots we did for our young actor, Rylee.
Looking good is part of the business here in LA, especially when auditioning for roles. Kids have to have a base of looks that are appropriate for a variety of roles. They also need wardrobe staples for in person meetings, photo shoots, stage performances, etc. We love taking our artists shopping to help them upgrade their wardrobe to match their creative goals and energy. Pictured above is a leather jacket we purchased for our rock star, Dylan, to complete his look for his first music video, which we also filmed and produced.
We provide small group classes for our young artists in residence to learn everything from animation to film making. These classes serve as a supplement to the one on one private lessons we also provide.
We offer a number of large public art making activities throughout the year. These events are run by our artists in residence, and are designed to grab attention and get the public, and particularly kids, excited about art. Shown above is a car painting event held at the Petersen Automotive Museum.
For our visual artists, we provide all of the needed supplies, such as paint, canvas, sketchpads, pencils and more. Our artists love joining us on shopping trips to the art supply store to gather all kinds of creative tools.
Using the work from some of our amazing visual artists, we create a line of merchandise that turns it into wearable art. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these items goes directly to the artists. Shown above are a hat and hoodie designed by Nico.
For our young actors, we provide intensive hands on training in all aspects of film production. Not only do they take private acting lessons, but we work with them on our own short film projects so that they spend time on set learning all aspects of the process, from script writing to lighting, camera and sound, to editing and coloring.
