Meet our young artists in residence

NICO

NICO, Age 13, Tarzana. A hugely talented painter, Nico creates entire worlds in his complex and playful paintings [one of which is the header for this flyer]. We are working with Nico to learn new painting techniques that he can use to share his creative visions in ever more amazing ways. One of our favorite things to do with Nico's work is make merchandise, since it's so bright and colorful. Check out our shop for pillow, notebooks, pens, and a even a 500 piece puzzle!

DYLAN

DYLAN, Age 10, San Diego. A talented musician and multi-instrumentalist with his own record deal. We are working with Dylan to hone his voice and song writing skills with private lessons and tutoring. We even helped produce his very first music video! Dylan continues to make progress with voice lessons and writing new songs. We even have some great Dylan merchandise in our shop, and part of the proceeds go directly to cover lessons.

TAJ

TAJ, Age 13, Hawthorne. An aspiring animator and actor, Taj is excited for the opportunity to learn new skills that he can use to animate his stories. We are also working with Taj to learn more about the behind the scenes of film making and storytelling.

BRAYLON

BRAYLON, 14, Santa Monica. A natural when it comes to designing clothing, including the hoodie in the above image, Braylon is focusing on the practical aspects of creating and manufacturing his own brand. He is fortunate to have some great local artists sharing their skills with him and providing lessons on new techniques.

KHRIZ ANGEL

KHRIZ ANGEL, 13, Inglewood. Khriz Angel is very skilled at both drawing and painting. His ability to draw lifelike objects just from seeing them is years beyond his age. With the right resources, his potential in unlimited. We are working with Khriz Angel to expand his drawing and painting techniques, and helping him learn new materials and mediums. Khriz Angel is currently enrolled in online drawing classes where we are improving his skills at drawing realistic objects and scenes.

RYLEE

RYLEE, Age 12, Long Beach. Rylee loves the "behind the scenes" of movie making and is an aspiring actor and director. He's not shy in front of the camera either, and has huge potential as an actor. Rylee is working with one of our talented artist mentors on his acting skills by reading lines and practicing for a short film project. We are also working with Rylee on his first professional reel so he can submit himself for acting roles. We arranged and funded the amazing photo shoot you see above, and Rylee has been able to use these photos to submit himself for modeling jobs as well. We are very proud of all the work he has been doing. Stay tuned for big things from this young star!

DREW

DREW, 14, Los Angeles. Drew is a great animator and illustrator. Drew draws all kinds of fun characters but especially cats. We are working with Drew on drawing skills, character development and storytelling. We're also making some cool merchandise based on their designs, so stay tuned!

RAY

RAY, 15, Long Beach. Ray is a great animator and comic artist who wants to expand his skills and learn new techniques. He already has very impressive abilities with character drawing. Ray is also a great role model and supporter of his younger brothers Rylee and Raidyn. We are also working with Ray on learning the behind the scenes of film making, as he is taking on a role in producing the short film with his brother Rylee in it.
